It all began in 1990 on a cold, wet autumn day.
Dreamers, planners, cookers, musicians and skeptics, all together for the first of many
fun-filled Chilimania festivals!
There are no more skeptics!
Chilimania is arguably one of the Midwest’s, if not the country’s, most
entertaining and well organized chili cook-off competitions. Stop by for a
bite, some entertainment, or try your hand at one or more of the chili cooking contests.
Admission to Chilimania is $4 in advance and $5 at the gate, with children under 12 admitted free if supervised by an adult. Advanced tickets are available August 22nd through September 4th at several Edgerton businesses, including Reitz Dental, Chase Bank, Bank of Edgerton, M&I Bank, Edgerton Pharmacy, the Chamber of Commerce office in the depot, Citgo, The Filling Station, Lein Oil, and Piggly-Wiggly.
